Three or more members of the Issaquah School Board are scheduled to be at the Washington State Capitol Building (416 Sid Snyder Ave. SW, Olympia, WA 98504) for the District’s Day on the Hill. They, along with the Superintendent, members of the Administration, and Student Representatives will be meeting with State Legislators.
No Board action will take place during this assembly. Any actions resulting from this assembly will be taken during a future board meeting.
The School Board will hold a special meeting on March 18, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The meeting will be called to order at 9:00 AM and the Board will immediately go into Executive Session, expected to last 90 minutes. The Board will then call the meeting back to order to adjourn.
The Issaquah School Board, Superintendent Tow-Yick, members of the ISD Administration, and legal counsel will be present to discuss legal matters pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i). This session is hybrid and will be held in person at the Administration Center (5150 220th Ave. SE, Issaquah, WA 98029) and via Zoom. This session is expected to last 90 minutes and expected to end at 10:30 AM.
Executive Sessions are not open to the public and no action will be taken.

Mrs. Otley shared the inspiring book The Perfect Fit with our students, beautifully aligning with our school's Equity Pledge. Following the reading, Ms. Phillips and Ms. Niblock led a meaningful lesson on the importance of embracing differences, highlighting how our school community grows stronger when we celebrate the uniqueness of every student.
Each student is represented in this collaborative art project, where their individual creations come together to form The Perfect Fit, symbolizing the power of diversity, unity and community.
