Kindergarten Registration Now Open!
If your child will be five years old by Aug. 31, 2024, and you live in the Issaquah School District, it's time to register for kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year! We ask incoming families to complete the registration process as soon as possible to help us plan for next year’s staffing and classrooms.

Meet Principal Vanessa Garcia!
Hi, Cougar families! If I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting you in person yet, allow me to introduce myself. I have been in education for 22 years, and have worked in the ISD for three of those years. My favorite kind of music is Country. I am from Texas, and one destination on my travel bucket list is Greece!
Multi-Tiered Systems of Support
MTSS is shaping the student experience at our school and throughout our district. Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, or MTSS, is a nationally recognized, evidence-based framework guiding our approach to academics, social emotional learning, behavior and attendance.
Dual Language Immersion Program
Our Spanish-English Dual Language Program, also known as two-way immersion, uses a 50:50 model. Fifty percent of the instruction occurs in English and fifty percent of the instruction is in Spanish. The goal is to balance the number of students in each class with half who are native Spanish speakers and half who are English speakers. Students are exposed to the same curriculum as their peers while also having the opportunity to learn a second language.
