Clark Celebrates Kindness Month

February is Kindness Month at Clark Elementary! You may have heard some rumblings from your students about our new Gold Clark Coins! Students who are caught demonstrating kind, respectful behaviors will receive a gold coin, which will be entered to win a prize on our prize wheel!
We shared with students that unfortunately, we have recently seen an increase in disrespectful behaviors at Clark. We are hoping for a big change this month as we get back to being the kindest Clark Sharks we can be.
Here are some of the behaviors we are working hard to eliminate:
- Inappropriate or unkind words
- Talking while a teacher is talking
- Purposely causing disruptions while others are trying to learn
- Arguing/talking back with adults
- Walking away from adults
Gold coins received get put into a tub to be drawn for a chance to spin the prize wheel!
Winners are enjoying extra class recess, item from our prize tubs and even McDonald's lunch with Principal Otley and Assistant Principal Falk!
